Mobile phone; how this little device has so great a ‘coverage’ in our lives!
Sometimes it is an identity which shows who we are and with whom we interact.
‘Duplicates in my mobile’ is a journey of the numbers in my mobile to converge with their duplicates…
Because; I have realized that this device , this tool which is capable of making people ‘nearby’ with only touching a couple of buttons, have at times a certain atomizing nature inhibiting face to face interaction.
I have shot the personal world I am carrying in my mobile, the people ,owners of the numbers in my telephone directory with the purpose of visualizing them as ‘my people’, not as a series of numbers composed of digits.
Wherever they want to be, places where they happen to be; in their homes, offices, in their cars, in open air, at night, during the day…..Sometimes like how they are, sometimes like how they want to be.. With only my mobile phone and its camera…
